Upper Limit for Consumer Arbitration Committee Applications Has Been Updated

The Official Gazette dated December 20, 2023, published a Communique that updated the monetary limits stated in Article 68 of the Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and Article 6 of the Regulation on Consumer Arbitration Committees.

 

Accordingly, as of the year 2023, disputes worth less than 30,000 Turkish Liras could be brought before the Consumer Arbitration Committees, but this limit has been raised to 104,000 Turkish Liras effective from January 1, 2023.
